Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. She has a father named Paul Felix. Paul Felix is an ordained Minister from the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. and her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed a knack for athletics before she realized her talent for sprinting when she was at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After only 10 weeks after her first race, Felix finished second in the 200 meter sprint on the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended in the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She set the Junior World Record doing 200 m in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest ever world athlete to win the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three places in all her races.
